Influenza, commonly known as the flu, can be a highly contagious respiratory illness. It's primarily caused by influenza viruses that infect your respiratory system. The common signs and symptoms of the flu can vary from mild to severe. Some common indications include a high temperature, cough, difficulty swallowing, muscle or body aches, headaches
